We have ducklings on the village pond, I couldn’t get too close otherwise I’d have been attacked by our “friendly” neighbourhood goose who is self appointed protector of the pond and all it’s residents. It looks like there’s 2 or 3 broods of ducklings (about 14 in all) and some baby Moorhens too. It’ll be nice watching them grow over the next fews weeks as it’s always nice to chill by the pond in the evenings after a busy day at work. Our village green is one of the things that makes me glad that I don’t live in London but have somewhere to escape to at the end of the day.
