Training Log: 6-6-16

Juneathon Day 6: YogaiaA slow start to the day, too lazy to get up and run to work I delved into emails and quickly realised I wouldn’t be going for a run in my 11am lunch break slot either.

I did manage to squeeze in 2 short Yogaia classes, Easy Flow and Stretch & Shine which put me in a positive state of mind for an afternoon of stress and conference calls.  I also did today’s squat allocation, 75!

I really need to start leaving these till the end of the day though as I am not sure they helped my post-work run.

Today’s TrainAsONE run was supposed to be a 59 minute, 9km run….my legs felt like lead, it was hot and so feeling a bit on the lazy side I battled hard but called it a lap short and only ran for 51 minutes.  I could have kept going but I really didn’t feel like it and in the grand scheme of things I figure I’ll make up the missing 8 minutes at Endure24 this weekend (oops an off-plan 24 hour race, how did that happen?).  All in all I got out and ran and after the day I’ve had that was a win in itself.

So there we have it, Juneathon day 6 is done and dusted!TrainAsOne #economy #juneathon
