Is it just me that can’t get into Big Brother this year? I’ve seen on bits of it, and I’ve been reading the news articles on www.digitalspy.co.uk but I’ve barely watched any of the TV shows, I’ve not even been tuning in for the evictions.
For some reason this year the addiction hasn’t kicked in and I can’t quite put my finger on why. Who knows maybe with the latest twist of 5 new house mates and an extra house I may get hooked in…we shall see but I’m not holding out much hope.
I’m kind of ‘into’ this one – well, by ‘into’ I mean that I watch the highlight shows.
We started watching BB at series 3, then saw a bit of 4 but was disappointed and that series resulted in a few ‘far-fetched’ housemates in future series as far as I was concerned and I couldn’t relate to any of them.
I think this year, it was harder to get hooked because of the walkouts in the first week and all the new housemates that came as a result. I got more hooked once that had died down. So actually, I’m a bit less interested now there are so many newbies in one hit but I generally just take time to get used to change!
I’ve enjoyed a lot of it so far – more normal housemates having more normal flare ups (with the exception of Nikki perhaps but, when she isn’t whinging, she’s quite funny in my eyes)
