Welcome

Image - profile photo Kat I’m Kat, professional nagger and problem solver.  When work & travel took over my life I gained weight and lost fitness.  This left me feeling lethargic, stressed and unproductive.  I didn’t have the energy I needed to keep up with my own busy lifestyle and so I needed to make a change!

I’ve been able to turn things around and now I want to help busy people, like you, build little snippets of fitness training into your life so that you can enjoy improved physical and mental health. Read more…

Day to day I like running, playing with technology and gadgets, designing printables for Tailfish by Pyry and blogging about everything I find interesting in life.

Spread the love

Thank you 2017!

2017 has been quite the whirlwind, and saw a good 6 months of solid progress in my running, with 2 strong ultra races completed.  I couldn’t have done this without the team at TrainAsONE and Amanda Tress’s FASTer Way To Fat Loss program*. A rocky start to racing in March …

When eating & not exercising becomes incompatible

I stood on the scales yesterday, it wasn’t a great outcome….159lbs, that’s 11 stone 5 lbs, or apx 72kg. I think this is the most I have ever weighed (certainly the most I have weighed myself at), and to be honest I don’t look that bad. the thing is, I …

Shortlist Excitement: Myprotein Blogger Awards

What a week! I thought I was on the mend last weekend and had restarted exercise, but it wasn’t to last unfortunately. What with a work trip to the Netherlands followed by a couple of days driving around the UK I found myself returning to snotsville. So much so I …

Reduced snot, recommenced training

A hectic month at work, a bout of laziness and a full-on snot/coughing sickness (I’m a girl so I can’t call it ‘flu) meant that I only ran 20km in November, and only completed 4 FASTer Way To Fat Loss* workouts. Slightly less than ideal, but it could be worse, …
