Had a great run at my first MK parkrun today, it was rainy which meant there was no chance of me overheating and I got to catch up with an old snowboarding friend who I hadn’t seen for a couple of years! While The Boyf headed off into the distance we took it at a slightly gentler pace (Steve had already run the route in reverse) and had a good catch up on the way round. I was a bit slower than Wimpole a couple of weeks ago but this suited my 10km race prep and I’m really pleased with how I did. We’ll definitely keep MK on the list of places to run, especially if we’re after path as opposed to grass.
